Accident Shuts Down Wellborn Road Saturday Night

Police had to shutdown Wellborn Road Saturday evening due to a major accident.

This involved two vehicles and happened in front of the Z-Islander Apartments on Wellborn Road.

Bryan Police tell us a Red Ford Fusion rear-ended a Gray Mazda Tribute.

The 20-year-old driver of the Mazda was transported to the hospital for possible injuries.

The driver of the Ford Fusion, 19-year-old Henry Lade was cited for failure to control speed.
