A memorial service at Fort Bliss will be held next week for a Texas A&M graduate who died during a training exercise last week.
The Army and the A&M Association of Former Students reports Sgt. Graham Woody was killed Friday when the armed vehicle he was in rolled at the Ana Dona range complex.
A member of the Aggie Class of 2008 with a degree in engineering technology, the 27-year-old was part of the Third Brigade, First Armored Division. He served in the A&M Corps of Cadets as part of Company N-1.
"He would be the poster child of the Army: good looking, clean cut, all-American boy that was always waving the American flag and would do anything for anybody," said Don Armstrong, a Woody family spokesperson, to the Association.
