The Texas A&M quarterback who won the Heisman Trophy and took the Aggies to an 11 and 2 season and a Cotton Bowl win over Oklahoma is leaving Twitter.
At least for now.
ESPN.COM is reporting that Johnny Manziel said this week that he has self-imposed a Twitter ban in an attempt to keep his personal life more private.
The story goes on to say that Manziel's more than 330,000 Twitter followers will have to find other ways to keep up with what's going on in Johnny Football's life.
Manziel said it's fun to have, but it can get distracting.
His Twitter pictures have included him attending Mardi Gras, posing with stars at the Super Bowl, at N-B-A games, and recently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on spring break.
