Everywhere you look in Big D, you'll see maroon.
Aggie fans, Alumni, and families have made there way to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl and with the team closing out its first season in the SEC fans are pumped about the bowl game.
"It's a big difference! A lot more exciting and we're glad to be here experiencing Johnny Football's first Cotton Bowl," said A&M Alumni Lori Romere from Sugarland.
11-year-old Amesley Davis came all the way from Austin and she's never seen so many Aggies.
"Sometimes I think there isn't a lot of them but now I realize there are," said Davis.
"That because you live in Austin," I asked.
"Yes," she said with a smile.
Jim Baylor brought his very unique Aggie hat to the game for one good reason.
"We win games when I wear this hat," said Baylor.
Turns out his 25 year old hat is a hot commodity.
"Everybody wants to buy this hat. They'll offer up to $500 dollars! But this hat is not for sale," joked Baylor.
While Jim is confidant in an Aggie win.
"Oh, they're going to win! No doubt," said Baylor.
Others are a little more cautious.
"Well we're both really good teams and highly ranked. Hopefully we can pull it off," said fan Austin Ortega.
Then there's the other side of the sidelines.
OU fans are also confident in a victor but still have a soft spot for the maroon and white.
"We miss them but we just want to show them what the Big 12 is all about," said OU fan Kirk Kendall.
"You know I miss, I miss their band. The band was awesome," said OU fan Angie Kendall.
"They had a great year in the SEC but we're looking forward to them coming back so we can show them how the Big 12 does it," said and OU fan.
And they're well away that the key to an OU upset is stopping Johnny Manziel.
"As for as Johnny Football, he's a great player. OU is going to have to contain him which I think they can," said OU Fan T.J. Beech
Thursday night in the Ft. Worth Stockyards Midnight Yell will take place and fans will continue to soak up this Cotton Bowl atmosphere.
