Texas A&M Baseball, in conjunction with the TAMU Student Veteran Association and the TAMU Veteran and Support Center, will host Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, May 5 as part of the Aggies’ series finale against the Missouri Tigers. Game time is slated for 1:05 pm.
Prior to the game the TAMU Student Veteran Association and the TAMU Veteran and Support Center will be hosting a tailgate outside of Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The tailgate, which begins at 10 am, will feature hot dogs, apple pie and Blue Bell Ice Cream donated by H-E-B Tower Point in College Station. All active duty military and veterans are welcome.
Active duty military and veterans are able to participate in a pregame salute led by USAF Veteran and Aggie Baseball public address announcer Rick Hill. Throughout the game, each branch of the military will be honored with the playing of their respective service song. Patriotic music will be played throughout the game.
The tailgate will continue following the game until 5 pm.
All active duty military and veterans are eligible to receive two free General Admission tickets with any additional tickets costing $4.
