The intoxication assault conviction of a woman who crashed into a College Station Police car has been upheld by the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco.

Alex Ford, 24, is already serving a six year prison sentence for the crash that seriously injured College Station officer Tracy Sheets, who retired because of her injuries.

Ford, who was from Houston, was partying one night in January of 2010 in College Station in a borrowed Maserati.

After going to several bars, she and several friends piled into the car.

According to court documents, she was driving 80-miles-an hour when she hit the police cruiser head on.
