Local families received an early visit from Santa. The Annual Toy Run supported by the Harley-Davidson dealership brought Christmas to hundreds of families in the Brazos Valley.
Dozens of volunteers, rode in a motor cave on motorcycles to make special deliveries. They went to a local apartment complex and gave out stuffed animals to the kids in the neighborhood. They also provided families with anything they may need such as beds, grocery gift cards, toys and home goods. They surprised a single mother and her child with some much needed cheer.
"I really don't feel like good things happen to me and my son. And we have had a challenging time so I really want to say thank you to the other people who were involved," said Sharreauno Soloman.
For the past 23 years the Toy Run has been a local tradition to help families in need with the help of donations, volunteers and local businesses.
