It's a way to honor women, celebrate life and raise money to fight heart disease.
The annual American Heart Association Go Red for Women luncheon and fundraiser was held Thursday at the College Station Hilton.
Inspirational key note speaker and heart survivor, Tammy Whitehurst, entertained the crowd.
Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans. Thursday's event raised money for cutting edge research, education and advocacy programs.
