The SEC hype is being celebrated by a lot of Aggies and even behind the scenes, too.
News 3 has a preview of some of the new merchandise coming out for the fall football season and discovered how the new rivalries are reshaping the look of Aggieland.
It's the calm before the storm of football fans at C.C. Creations warehouse in College Station where Retail Sales Director Jennifer Burnett shows us signs of the SEC are everywhere.
"Well, we're expecting an increase in our traffic you know all of the SEC fans they are known for traveling so we're expecting to see large crowds," said Burnett.
The look and teams for C.C. Creations is changing too. More than 20 new t-shirt designs will be introduced at their new store.
"Maroon U, it's 6,000 square feet. We'll be carrying high-end fashion and apparel for game day, so you'll have your game day dresses. We'll carry brand names such as Columbia, Adidas, Nike, Hurley," she explained.
Across town Aggieland Outfitters said bye to Bevo over the weekend and their saw 'em off murals outside were painted over. With a new theme highlighting Aggieland to come.
Aggieland Outfitters Marketing Director Dallas Shipp says the SEC switch gives the Aggies a conference to brag about.
"Really for the first time in school history this is something that A&M has that the university in Austin can't, they can't claim," Shipp said.
"Hopefully a lot of people coming to shop and gear up for the football season."
Signs of things to come as new traditions and rivalries begin for a year Ags will never forget.
C.C. Creations' Maroon U Store is set to open in mid August.
Meanwhile, Aggieland Outfitters' plans for the Bevo sculpture will be announced in a few weeks.
