BRYAN In an effort to better communicate to citizens and customers, Bryan Texas Utilities will now be live tweeting outage information through the City of Bryan Twitter page.

BTU will be live tweeting when and where significant outages are occurring in Bryan. Tweets will include the estimated duration of outages and when power is restored in the affected areas.

All tweets regarding BTU power outages will include the hashtag #BTUalert. The voice behind the tweets will be one of BTU's five public information officers, rotating each week.
