A horse barn is a total loss after a fire broke out Monday afternoon at Still Creek Ranch in Bryan.

Firefighters have yet to determine a cause, but say the fire started around 2 p.m. in a horse barn that was being remodeled.

No animals were inside at the time.

Several volunteer fire departments worked to keep the fire from spreading.

It took about an hour to contain the blaze, and no one was injured in the fire.

Still Creek Ranch is located off of Hearne Road in Bryan.

It's a children's home and christian school for boys and girls who don't have the best living environment to call home.
