Blair served as a key-note speaker and spoke to hundreds of high school students at the 17th annual "Texas Campus Crime Stoppers Conference" at the College Station Hilton Hotel.
The national championship coach is asking students to be leaders and role models at their schools to help their peers to stay on the right path. Blair used his own life as an example, saying he was never the best or the brightest, but hard work and common sense got him to where he his today.
Brazos County Crime Stoppers has partnered with the Texas Crime Stoppers Council, The Office of the Governor, and Texas Crime Stoppers Training and Technical Assistance thru Texas State University.
Attending the conference are approximately 435 participants, mostly students from Campus Crime Stopper Chapter across the State of Texas.
Brazos County Crime Stoppers sponsors Crime Stoppers Chapters on every Junior High School & High School in Bryan & College Station.
The student Crime Stopper members and their school sponsors are attended break-out training sessions to learn how to operate their campus programs, learn about personal safety and avoiding gang, sexting and bullying problems among other relevant topics.
