BRYAN Bryan authorities are investigating a death in relation to a condo fire.

It happened around noon in the 1100 block of Verde Drive near Finfeather and FM 2818.

In the process of putting the fire out, firefighters found a body inside. Police were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation is underway.

The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Michael Raymond Stanger.

It is unknown whether the person died as a result of the fire or if there was another cause, but a Bryan PD spokespersons says investigators don't believe there is foul play involved.

No other condominiums were damaged, according to BPD.
