American Momentum Bank and Kristen Distributing Company proudly present the 22nd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley. This year’s Celebrity Golf Classic be hosted by Billy Kennedy, Texas A&M Men’s Basketball Coach and will take place Sunday, April 14 and Monday, April 15, 2013. The annual tournament raises money for the local Boys & Girls Clubs which serves over 2,500 youth, ages 6 to 18. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley.
A Steak & Shake Dinner and Auction will kick-off the Celebrity Golf Classic at Hurricane Harry’s on Sunday, April 14 at 6:30 pm. A steak dinner, silent and live auctions, and an introduction of over 30 celebrities will take place at the lively event.
Celebrities attending the weekend long event include Coach Billy Kennedy, Dana Batiste, Phil Bennett, Matt Bumgardner, Rich Coady, Mark Johnson, Bob Ellis, Dave Elmendorf, Hunter Goodwin, Jacob Green, Bob Long, Randy McCown, Seth McKinney, Terrence Murphy, Steve O’Neal, and RC Slocum. A raffle of $5,00 shopping spree graciously donated by David Gardner’s Jewelers will be drawn on Sunday at the Steak & Shake Dinner and Auction. Raffle tickets are available now for $50 a piece or 3 tickets for $100.
On Monday, April 15th, four man golf teams will be paired with a celebrity to compete in the tournament. This year, the tournament will be held at Miramont Country Club with a 9:00 am morning tee time followed by an awards ceremony at Miramont.
