An 18-year-old Brenham resident accused of stealing cattle has been arrested.
According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, a theft report was filed on July 28th indicating cattle had been stolen from a ranch in the Burton area.
An investigation was launched by Washington County Sheriff’s Investigator Sergeant Damon Wegner and Texas and Southwestern Cattles Raisers Association Special Ranger Doug Hutchison. Nearly a month later, Brenham Police arrested Lachristian Devon Hall on a felony indictment charging him with Theft of Livestock.
Hall remains in the Washington County Jail under a $5,000.00 bond.
