One of the Bryan firefighters injured in the Knights of Columbus Hall fire in February has been released from the Blocker Burn Unit in Galveston.

The Bryan Fire Department says Ricky Mantey is staying in a condo in Galveston with his family. He will still go the burn unit daily for physical therapy, but the department says he is making tremendous progress.

Bryan Firefighter Mitch Moran was also critically burned in that fire. He is listed in serious condition, but the department says he is making great progress.

Bryan Firefighters Gregory Pickard and Eric Wallace died in the fire.
