Bryan Homeless Man Arrested For Abusing 9-1-1

A Bryan homeless man remains in jail Monday for abusing 9-1-1.

James Phillips, 55-years-old was arrested early Sunday morning after he called 9-1-1 three times with no emergencies.

Bryan Police say each time Phillips called, the line was silent and open.
The first time he called, he told Bryan Police Officers false statements.
The second and third time he called, he insisted on needing medical attention.

He is being held on a $2,000 bond.
