Bryan Man Arrested for Harassing, Cursing at 9-1-1 Dispatcher

A Bryan man is in jail after repeatedly harassing and cursing at 9-1-1 employees early Friday morning.

51-year-old Clinton Dale Hurley called 9-1-1 around 7:00 and 9:30pm Friday night saying that he was almost run over by a car. The dispatcher tried to get Hurley's location, but he was uncooperative. He told 9-1-1 that they "didn't ask the questions, he did." The dispatcher said Hurley's speech was slurred and broken.

Hurley became argumentative and said "You bitch, you {expletive deleted} whore."

An Bryan Police officer was sent to his residence. Hurley was arrested for abusive calls to 9-1-1 service.
