BRYAN An accident on Briarcrest Drive involving a Bryan Police patrol car slowed traffic.
It happened early Wednesday afternoon at Briarcrest and Highway 6.
According to police, an officer was responding in his squad car to a wreck and was southbound on the Highway 6 frontage road with its emergency equipment activated.
A jeep eastbound on Briarcrest did not yield the right of way and t-boned the patrol car.
The officer suffered cuts from glass broken in the wreck, but did not need any other medical attention.
The jeep's driver, who refused transport for treatment of any injuries, was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
