Bryan Police Catch Burglar in the Act

On Tuesday, the Bryan Police Department received a call of a Burglary of a Habitation in progress in the 3100 block of Heatherwood. The caller advised that someone was in the backyard of the residence. The caller advised they witnessed the male gain entry into the house by force. Officers responded to the scene and after a short foot chase made an arrest on Quintarius Jackson, an 18 year old male. Officers contacted the victim and returned his property.

Quintarius Jackson was charged with Burglary of Habitation, Evading, and Criminal Trespass.

The Bryan Police Department wants to commend the witnesses in this case for calling in suspicious activity which helped catch a burglar.
