Bryan Police Catch Shoplifters in the Act

On Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 8:26pm, the Bryan Police Department responded to Walmart located at 2200 Briarcrest for a shoplifting in progress. Three subjects were placing baby formula, clothing, and various other items in a shopping cart. The three subjects then left the store without paying for the merchandise which was valued at $2004.31. The Bryan Police detained all three subjects. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that they had previously taken similar items from the College Station Walmart totaling $1,652.91.

The Bryan Police Department arrested and charged the following with Theft Property >=$1500 < 20K:
Darren Lee Brown 28 year old male from Houston
Latrice Denise Randle 28 year old female from Houston
Blanche Yvonne Buckner 54 year old female from Houston

The College Station Police Department also charged all three subjects with another count of Theft Property >=$1500 < 20K. According to Walmart, these individuals may also be responsible for similar thefts in the Austin, Houston, and other area Walmarts.
