Bryan police are investigating a report of human remains at a vacant property.

According to police, they received a tip late last week about human remains buried in the 600 block of East 24th Street. Bones were located there.

The tip was that the remains had been buried at the location since the late 1960s.

It has yet to be determined whether the remains are human. Authorities will now work to figure out if a crime has taken place.
