*10 P.M. Update*

A drive-by shooting in north Bryan slightly injured two people Monday night, but there were quite a few people in the line of fire.

Police are still looking for a suspect.

Crime scene tape and police lights lit up at dusk after a drive-by shooting in the 1200 block of Boulevard Street in north Bryan.

Neighbor Jaclyn Johnson didn't see the shooting but one of her friends Johnny Childs III was hit.

Police say 19-year-old Childs was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

23-year-old Therheis Warren also had minor injuries but didn't need medical treatment. She says people were inside and outside the house when it happened.

"I just know a close friend you know was hit, he was hit. It was a drive-by and it's just sad that this type of violence has to happen where kids play, you know and another person was scraped on the hand you know. It's just really bad," she said.

Amazingly no one was seriously injured in this drive-by shooting. Police are still investigating the motive behind it.

"It's still early in the investigation and it is ongoing, the criminal investigation division along with the crime scene unit has responded to the scene and are currently investigating," said Officer Kelley McKethan with the Bryan Police Department.

"I just want to say we need to stop the violence over stupid stuff. Period," said Jaclyn Johnson.

Police are looking for a white two door truck, possibly a Chevrolet.

Police are still trying to figure how many people were in the suspect vehicle and do not believe there is an immediate threat to the public at this time.
