Bryan Church Presenting "Fiddler On The Roof" Friday and Saturday

A musical classic is coming alive in Bryan.

More than 40 members and friends of First United Methodist Church in Bryan are rehearsing for their production of "Fiddler On The Roof."

The musical is set in 1905 Russia and tells the story of Jews and villagers during a time of many changes before the Communist Revolution.

News 3's very own Clay Falls is also one of the main characters in the show premiering Friday at the church.

"Living within a Jewish community and the Russian community all in the same town of Anatevka. Many people think it's just really a Jewish story but it's not. It's a story about humanity and how you react to change. And so really from that standpoint it's a timeless story," said Rev. David Henry, the Director of Music and Worship Ministries at First United Methodist Church Bryan.

Tickets are nearly sold out for both Friday and Saturday night, but you can still contact the church for availability at: (979) 779-1324.

Seats are $15 each which includes dinner which starts at 6 o'clock and the show at 7 each night.
