A Bryan man is in hot water after police say he stole copper wire from a Bryan Texas Utilities lineman.

On Thursday Police spotted Todarrle Hall walking his bicycle down the street from BTU. He was carrying a black bag and had a roll of copper around his shoulder. Hall -- who was sweating profusely -- told police he found the copper wire in a recycling bin outside of BTU.

Police searched Hall and found clear plastic gloves, and several other copper wires in the travel bag he was carrying.
