Police arrested a College Station resident for burglary, and when approaching him, investigators say the suspect dropped a claw hammer from under his shirt.

Police say they were called out to the 1600 block of Holleman Drive around 7:45 Saturday evening for a car burglary.

When they arrived, they found the suspect, 20 year old Luke Ray Garrett, near the vehicle. When investigators approached him, they say Garrett dropped a claw hammer from under his shirt.

Police say they found some stolen items from the victim’s vehicle and some marijuana. Garrett was arrested for burglary and possession of marijuana.
