A lot of people in our community have already a lot of good things for the community of West, Texas.

That includes a group of women from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station.

These ladies have been in the kitchen for hours baking up a lot of love. Sixty-five homemade apple pies are headed to West Saturday morning.

The Iola Volunteer Fire Department will be delivering the pies to relief workers, volunteers and residents of West.

The ladies hope the homemade pies will bring a little comfort during this difficult time.
