CS City Council Approves Funding for Convention & Visitors Bureau

COLLEGE STATION The College Station City Council Monday night approved funding for several organizations that could draw more businesses visitors to this area.

Council members approved the fiscal year 2014 budget for the Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau for $1.38 million. That money comes from the Hotel Tax Fund.

The council, among other things, also approved a funding agreement with the Research Valley Partnership for $350,000, and $365,000 for the Arts Council of Brazos Valley for affiliate funding and marketing.
