CS Woman Sentenced to 9 Years in Prison for Credit Card Abuse

Bryan A College Station woman has been sentenced to 9 years of confinement after the District Attorney says she pleaded guilty to charges of Credit Card Abuse.

Court records show that plea was offered in November of 2012 for 32-year-old Jennifer Louise Westbrook, and that a plea agreement was reached. The Brazos County D.A.'s office says Westbrook faced 10 years in prison, which is usually a state jail felony, but because of prior felony convictions, she faced enhanced charged. Those prior convictions include theft, forgery, credit card abuse, among others - all from a range of five different counties.
