CSISD School Board Discusses New Elementary School, Employee Pay Raises

A new elementary school could be on the horizon for College Station ISD.

Early discussions happened Tuesday night at the school board meeting.

The CSISD Long-Range Educational Planning Committee has been looking into future needs of the district and that includes adding a ninth elementary school.

A site has not been chosen yet and a bond would have to be approved by voters.

The district is also in preliminary discussions to give a four percent pay raise to employees to offset higher insurance costs.
