An investigation is underway after a collision near Post Oak Mall in College Station.
The accident happened just before 8:30 Monday night.
According to police, a 2009 Mazda M6S traveling southbound on Highway 6 collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Express Van also traveling in the southbound lane.
Police say the Mazda made an unsafe lane change into the side of the van, sending both vehicles into the grassy median.
Officials say the driver of the Mazda became aggressive and had to be restrained while paramedics tended to his injuries.
He was later sent to the College Station Medical Center for additional treatment.
The driver of the van suffered non-incapacitating injuries.
