Cameron Man Arrested for Aggravated Assult

Today, members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and members of the Cameron Police Department arrested Jesse Garza of Cameron for warrants on the charge of Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury. He also has been charged with a Parole Revocation Warrant issued by the Parole Division of State of Texas. Garza had been wanted for the past two weeks for the offense and had been unable to be apprehended prior to the involvement of the U.S. Marshals.

He was arrested at 902 West Main after a search of the residence. There were no injuries in the arrest. Also arrested was Maria Garza of Cameron for Hindering Apprehension – Felony Offender a 3rd Degree Felony. Additional charges may be filed against other individuals resulting out of this arrest and incident.

Both individuals are currently in the Milam County Jail.
