Two suspects involved in a home invasion in Cameron are now in police custody.

Police say Billy Joe Pittman Jr., 28, was arrested last night at a house in Cameron. Alvin Melton, 30, turned himself in to the Cameron Police Department last night.

Investigators have been searching for the two Cameron residents since Friday night when a woman said she received a knock on the door and two black males entered her house from the back. The victim told police one man apparently shoved her while the other one blocked the door so she could not leave.

Both suspects are currently in the Milam County Jail.

Investigators say the victim was legally handicapped which upgrades the robbery to an aggravated robbery charge by state law.
