A Cameron man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for having cocaine in O.J. Thomas Park and Pavilion in Cameron.
Cameron Police Officers arrested 37-year-old Kevin "Kitty" Webber for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.
The arrest is a part of a month long investigation into open air drug activity in the area of the OJ Thomas Park and Pavilion in Cameron. Along with the substance, Webber possessed a police frequency scanner and apparently was monitoring the movements of the local police and sheriff’s deputies.
The arrest is a 1st Degree Felony charge.
