Cameron police are looking for a suspect who fled on foot after investigators tried to serve a warrant for aggravated assault.

Police say 31 year old Jesse Garza ran from police Friday. Investigators say he is charged with aggravated assault for punching a female in the chest at a night club a couple of weeks ago. The victim suffered major injuries and underwent heart surgery. She is still at an Austin area hospital receiving treatment.

Investigators say Garza is considered dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Cameron Police Department.
