Cameron Police arrested a man after the mother of a child called police to report her child had been abused.
39-year-old Curlin Roberson was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say he slammed a 12-year-old child into a washing machine by the throat.
According to the police report, the child was at a neighbors house when they were asked to wash dishes. The child refused and that's when Roberson allegedly grabbed the child by the throat and slammed him into a washing machine. Officers took pictures of the child's injuries, which included large lump of the back of the head.
Officers spoke to several other people at the house during the time the child and Roberson were there. They state that the child got aggitated when asked to wash dishes and Roberson stepped in to stop the child from hitting another person.
Roberson was arrested and transported to the Milam County Jail.
