A candlelight vigil is planned for the victims of Friday night’s deadly fire at the Knights of Columbus Hall near Downtown Bryan.

College Station Fire Department Station #6 is taking candle donations for the vigil.

The event is scheduled to take place at Merrill Green Stadium at Bryan High School Sunday night for the victims and for those still recovering.

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., and the service is scheduled to last from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Bryan Fire Lieutenants Eric Wallace and Greg Pickard died from injuries sustained late Friday night in the 1500 block of Groesbeck. Wallace died shortly after the roof of the hall collapsed. Pickard died at the University of Texas Medical Branch burn unit in Galveston.

Firefighter Ricky Mantey Jr. and Probationary Firefighter Mitch Moran were also taken to UTMB with injuries sustained in the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
