The 2012 Scarecrow Festival wrapped up Sunday evening in Washington County.

The free festival was hosted by Chappell Hill Historical Society.

The community came out to enjoy shopping in more than 250 exhibitors booths and try all the delicious country-style food.

Festival goers also enjoyed shopping in Chappell Hill's various shops.

The Society says the goal is to stage a high-quality show in the downtown, National historic district.
