Animal cruelty charges are expected to be filed against a Washington County landowner after 15 of his horses were seized because of suspected neglect.
The horses were seized from property off Brandt Road southwest of Brenham and are now being kept by True Blue Animal Rescue.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office seized them two weeks ago after allegations of neglect and lack of medical care.
A local viewer in Caldwell has offered to adopt three of the horses after seeing our report on them being available for adoption.
T-BAR is looking for prospective adoptive families as well as food donations to help rehabilitate the animals.
