College Station Judge Ed Spillane to be President-Elect of State Association

College Station Municipal Court Judge Ed Spillane was recently tabbed as president-elect of the Texas Municipal Courts Association, which is the governing board of the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and represents the state’s municipal court judges, clerks, bailiffs, marshals and other court personnel, including prosecutors.

He won a statewide election for the office.

Spillane’s term as president-elect begins in September. He becomes TMCA president in September 2015 and past president in September 2016.

Spillane currently serves the organization as a regional director. A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Chicago School of Law, he has been the presiding judge at the College Station Municipal Court for more than 12 years.
