College Station Man All Smiles After Stealing Guitar

A College Station man is nothing but smiles after stealing a guitar from a local business.

21-year-old Austin Patrick Partin has a big smile in is mugshot. Police say he stole a 12-string Takamine guitar the Lippman Music Company in College Station on Saturday.

According to the arrest report, he played some guitars in the store for about an hour, then walked out with the 12-string. Police found him on campus a short while later. Partin was carrying the guitar and several knives.

He was arrested and charged with theft and unlawful carrying of a weapon. He's being held in the Brazos County Jail under $6,000 bond.
