Jury selection resumes Thursday in the trial of a College Station man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's mother and calling the daughter to say it was her fault.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the Bryan capital murder trial of 44-year-old Stanley Wayne Robertson of College Station.
Investigators say 59-year-old Anne Toliver was stabbed after being abducted from College Station. Her body was found in a Fort Worth parking lot on Aug. 14, 2010, after Robertson was arrested when his fleeing vehicle hit a Fort Worth patrol car.
A police report says Robertson had a history of assaulting Tammy Toliver and called her after the slaying to say it was her fault that he killed her mother.
Jury selection is expected to take three weeks and the trial is set to being on January 28th.
