Residents are going back home tonight following a shooting yesterday in College Station that left three people dead. Those living in the immediate area of Fidelity and Highland Streets were evacuated during the investigation.
Investigators expect to work through the night, sifting through evidence left at the crime scene.
Tents were set up today outside the home of suspected shooter Tres Caffall. Investigators were removing evidence from the home then processing what they found.
Caffall is accused of killing Brazos County Constable Brian Bachman who was serving him an eviction notice. 51-year-old Christopher Northcliffe, an innocent bystander, was shot and killed along with Caffall.
In a press conference today, College Station Police Chief Jeff Caps says investigators found multiple weapons inside Caffall's home.
