If you've been outside over the last few days, you know how great the weather is.

The City of College Station wants you to try their new hike and bike trail.

The trail connects Bee Creek Park to other bike trails on the east side of the city. In the future, the bike trail will connect to with Central Park through an intersection at Texas Avenue and Krenek Tap Road.

Once complete, the hike and bike trail will make a circular loop around the city.

This project is a part of a 1993 grant proposal for the College Station Bike Loop to provide a roughly circular connection of bicycle facilities connecting Texas A&M University, regional and local retail centers, residential areas, as well as various municipal buildings and several City parks.
