On Monday January 16, 2012 at approximately 1611hrs, College Station Police were dispatched to the College Station Medical Center for an assault victim. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 33 year old white woman who reported that she was approached by a black male in the 2000 block of Texas Avenue on 1/16/12 at approx 2:30pm. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the victim and she sustained a swollen, bruised hand during the incident.
The suspect was described as:
25-30 years of age
Med length braided hair
Approx. 5’11” 160 lbs, slender build, dark skin tone
Red colored shirt, jeans, tan hat w/blk stripe
A person commits an offense of robbery if, in the course of committing theft as defined in Chapter 31 Texas Penal Code and with intent to obtain or maintain control of the property he intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causes bodily injury to another
