The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley is pleased to announce the hiring of Greg Gorman as its new President. Gorman has over 13 years of experience in the non-profit arena as the former Executive Director of Development for St. Mary’s Catholic Center and as a founding officer of the Aggieland Catholic Foundation. Jerry Fox, Board Chair for the Foundation, stated “Greg’s commitment to service and community, as well as his depth of knowledge, will no doubt benefit the Community Foundation. We are confident that we have found the right person to lead us forward.”
Gorman noted that he looks forward to working with families, individuals, attorneys and estate and financial planners to design gift plans that fulfill their philanthropic objectives. Stated Gorman, “I particularly look forward to collaborating with local non-profit organizations to help them achieve financial sustainability.”
Gorman’s first official function will be to oversee the ninth annual Tribute Luncheon on Thursday, April 18, 2013. For their significant support of community organizations through the years with their time, energy, and financial resources, the Community Foundation is pleased to honor Nancy and Len Berry this year.
