The capital murder trial of a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's mother has been delayed.

Stanley Robertson's trial was set to begin next month. According to court documents, his defense attorneys asked for a continuance so they can recover from personal health related-issues.

Roberston is accused of murdering Anne Toliver after kidnapping her from the College Station Walmart in August of 2010. She was later found stabbed to death in a Fort Worth Shopping Center.

A new trial date is scheduled to be set at a hearing on August 20th.
