Crash Involving Two Pickups Slows Traffic in College Station

COLLEGE STATION - Traffic was slowed Wednesday evening on Raymond Stotzer Parkway -- better known as University Drive or FM 60 -- in College Station at FM 2818 after two pickup trucks crashed into each other.

Police believe a gray pickup was going east and turning north onto 2818 around 5:45 p.m. when a westbound blue pickup slammed into it.

In all, four people were taken to area hospitals, but the injuries were not believed to be serious. Three of those transported were among the four people who were in the gray pickup. The lone person inside the blue pickup was also taken to a hospital.

Roads in the area of the wreck were closed for about an hour while the scene was cleared and the accident was investigated.
