Fire crews are in Leon County trying to put out a huge grass fire that investigators say came together from two separate fires.
The fire is in Marquez which is about 17 miles west of Centerville.
Leon County Sheriff's Department says fire crews from surrounding counties have been called to assist.
Investigators say the fire originated from a controlled burn around 2 p.m. The fire went in two different directions and soon spread across hundreds of acres.
Leon County Judge Byron Ryder was on scene and said the county's burn ban was lifted 2 weeks ago, but it might need to be issued again.
The fire is now 100% contained, but crews are still putting out hotspots.
