Crews Install Basketball Court for Southwood Valley Elementary

Southwood Valley Elementary students are closer to getting an outdoor basketball court.

Crews took time to pour the cement for the court Thursday as part of the realization of a fundraising project that was conducted by the Texas A&M Basketball teams to ensure all local elementary students had a place to play.

Southwood Valley Elementary was the only school in the College Station School District that does not have an outdoor basketball court.

The Aggie men's and women's basketball programs donated $10,000 dollars for the court. Local businesses also supported the project.
